    Recently many users have notice that windows 10 have been downloaded on their system without their prior notice or acceptance. Windows 10 will download to the PC which did not have reserve their copy. The whole download has been processed silently in background. This happens to most of the users who have put their system on “install updates automatically”. Many users have put complaint on various online communities about this incident and Microsoft have told that this is a mistake and they have stop downloading windows 10 on users PC without their consent.

    Many users find it very irritating. When the download complete a dialog appears showing “restart your PC to install windows 10” The worst part of this that Microsoft eat 4GB of users data bandwidth. So, if you are completely unaware of it than this will be very annoying for you.

    Here in this article I will show you how you can stop to download windows 10 automatically on your PC without letting you know.

    • First you have to change the setting of downloading updates on your PC. You have set your system updates settings to “Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them” This will allow updates not install on your PC automatically.
    • After that open your control panel than system and security than click view installed updates. Here in search bar type “KB3035583” if you find the updates than click and uninstall it. Restart your system and that’s it you have successfully remove “Get windows 10 app” from your system icon tray as well from your system. Now you are completely free of any auto downloading of windows 10.
    • Lastly you have to make sure to check the above update before installing any windows updates in future. If the “KB3035583” update will gain available to your system updates, make sure you avoid downloading it. You may also hide this update. Just right click on the update and select hide it.

    These are the few steps to make sure that windows is not automatically downloading the windows 10 on your PC. Above steps are also remove the windows 10 upgrade option completely from your PC.
